The lively Monkey is rarely, if ever boring company. Fast-thinking, witty and exciting personalities. Monkey yearns for a life of constant variety filled with new and stimulating people with whom they can have adventures. Their active intelligence means that they are quick on the uptake and are often intuitive, allowing their minds to operate almost independently of their consciousness to arrive at an answer to a question swiftly. The quick mental processor that is their brain is also particularly impatient. Monkeys becoming extremely irritated by slower-witted tongues, too, their sarcasm being one of their less appealing features. These nimble simian are also rather resentful of authority and tend not to cope well in large organizations. This is not to say that they are not hard workers, but it is probably better for them if they are self-employed and can set their own speedy pace. Their independent nature is not reflected in their emotional lives, however: Monkeys desperately want to give and receive love and need a partner who will provide a steadying influence.
