The Horse will feel safer and more comfortable during the year of the Sheep, a calming atmosphere of contentment soothing your worries away. The going will be easier in all areas of your life, and you’ll feel that you can at last make some progress. The career picture will improve as, indeed; will your love life, as a result of some of your stallion-like wildness having ebbed away, along with the feeling that you have something to prove. The year of the Monkey offers the Horse excitement and a multitude of options. Although you’ll have to draw on your accumulated experience in order to act wisely, you can’t fail to be a success. It’s time to take a gamble or two, not all of which will pay off, but you’ll have fun however they turn out. The only downside to the Monkey year is the remote possibility of a family loss. The year of the Rooster brings discipline to the Horse, which you know is good for you, but will probably resent. Only sensible decisions will succeed this year, so there should be no monkeying about! You will have the chance to increase your prosperity through prudent planning, enhance your love life through commitment and add to your personal prestige through being sober and reliable. There’s no point in the Horse being selfish during the year of the Dog. Caring for others is the theme of the year, and only unwise steeds put their own interest first. This year, in which the poor Horse will not be a racer, instead having to be content with pulling a plough. Because the Dog year highlights emotions, even previously isolated Horse will now be forced to share their feelings. The headstrong Horse had better rein itself in when the year of the Pig arrives – its usual love of risk-taking is not advisable now. There will be many variables this year, and not all of them will be to the Horse’s advantage. Take life as quietly as you can because there are just two many potential accidents and unpleasant coincidences in store to race ahead regardless. The year of the Rat is the worst of all for the noble Horse, who will be confused by the devious rodent’s underhand scheming and made to feel vulnerable. Your best-laid plans will go awry and you’ll have more than one battle on your hands. All in all, try to keep your head down during the Rat year and don’t spend your resources – you’ll be needing them soon. Blessed relief comes with the year of the Ox (but not the water Ox, which is likely to be a little uncomfortable). Ox years favor those who word hard, and the Horse being no stranger to diligence, you’ll feel that you are at last getting somewhere and that your efforts are not in vain. However, love is not well starred and new affairs are likely to be disappointing. The Horse’s personal prosperity should improve during the year of the Tiger, and if Horse sensibly speculates to accumulate they should do well. Doorways of opportunity will beckon, and the typical Horse won’t think twice about bolting through them. It is advisable to think before you act, however, because some of these doorways lead to dead ends and the last thing you want is to be distracted from your true aims.
