There’s not likely to be much peace, calm or refinement during the year of the Dragon. The general atmosphere is one of brash flamboyance, and although Hares can play along with it, they won’t always like it. In fact may be wise to stand back from the folly that you’ll see around you – it’s a wise Hare who knows when to stay low and hidden. Hares are good at being philosophical, and this year will give them plenty of chances to prove it.

It’s going to be a time for improving the mind during the year of the snake. Intellectual pursuits beckon, and clever Hares will be able to further their education in many ways. It’s also a year in which selfishness will be no bad thing, so stand aloof and ignore any criticism. Friends and family members may get themselves into trouble, but they’ll also be able to extricate themselves from it without any interference from you. In addition, a more spiritual and meditative mood will appeal to you now.

The Hare will feel more vigorous and energetic during the busy year of the Horse, when your mind should be incisive and quick on the uptake. This is a particularly  good trait to possess during the Horse year, which will see sufficient upsets happening to people around you to keep you alert, however, just because friends and family are in turmoil, try not to take on their problems – you’ll have enough on your on plate!

Although your finances could be better during the year of the Sheep, you’ll have very little else to complain about. The year of the compatible Sheep will enable Hares to express the finer side of their natures and to enjoy the pleasures of culture, music and art. You may find yourself moving among a different circle, one in which you will meet many kindred spirits.

The year of the Monkey could be a worrying time for gentle Hares, but although it may be disruptive, the Hare’s old defense of standing aloof will come in useful. The Monkey doesn’t worry overly much about security, which means that Hares may feel vulnerable as changes suddenly occur around them. If you want some peace, stay away from the centre of things, live quietly and engage in intellectual pursuits.

The financial stakes will be very rocky indeed during the hateful year of the Rooster. The Hare and the Rooster cannot be described as friends, so it could be cause of the Hare having to run and hide again. Because the Rooster has a way of pulling the rug from under you, especially where money is concerned, protect your assets well. This is another year in which you should bide your time.

The past few years will have rattled the sensitive hare, so the year of the Dog should come as a relief. Things will calm down, life will become understandable once more and Hares should be on their way to prosperity, happiness and fulfillment. The trouble is that Hares are likely to be so shell-shocked that they won’t realize it immediately and will still be looking around for trouble. Put your fears aside and start building up your confidence.
